Lakeview Avenue Grade Separation 

This project constructed the grade separation of Lakeview Avenue over Orangethorpe Avenue and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway tracks by constructing a 4-lane overcrossing bridge. The project also included the construction of a 4-lane bridge over Atwood Channel.

The project included:

• Approximately 45,000 square feet of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Walls.

• Two bridges, one consisting of Cast-In-Place (CIP) Bulb Tee Girders and the other consisting of precast concrete girders.

• Jack/bore operations underneath the BNSF railroad and the Atwood channel.

• Construction of a precast underground retention basin
